Adrian AGER (25) Defender. Summer 2008 signing from Norwich United where he was team captain. A competent defender who can add the experience that the Club lacked last season.

Liam BARTLEY (18) Forward. Last season’s Ridgeons Youth League East Division top goalscorer who is now looking to establish his ability and talents in senior football.

Alan DARBY (24) Defender.  A welcome return to the Club for this former Youth player, a dependable defender who gives confidence to the youngsters playing around him and has shown great commitment to the Club.

Toby GORBOULD (19) Defender. A product of the Youth system who is getting better with each season; still learning his trade and certainly has the ability for a bright future at the Club.

Michael HILTON (18) Goalkeeper. Summer 2008 signing from Diss Town. An exciting young keeper with an excellent future ahead of him, highly rated by the Management at the Club.

Darren LAMB (24) Midfield. A welcome return to the Club for this former Youth player who has returned from local football; has shown in pre-season he has the ability to justify his selection.

Gareth PALMER (21) Defender. A product of the Youth system who is developing into a very competent defender; has quickly come to grasp with football at this level and is highly rated.

Elliot PRIDE (22) Goalkeeper. A product of the Youth system who established himself as first choice last season with some outstanding performances and won Players’ Player of the season.

Jake REED (17) Forward. Exciting young prospect from the Youth team set up who has shown dramatic all round improvement from last season and is taking the opportunity of first team football with both hands; a talented forward with a big future.
Stewart ROACH
(30) Forward. A former Norwich City apprentice, Stewart made a welcome return to the Club last season from Leiston, and he finished top Yarmouth goalscorer with fifteen goals in only sixteen games. Previously at the Club 1997-2001, his goalscoring exploits are legendary.

Olly SAVAGE 23) Defender. Summer 2008 signing from Diss Town. A small, compact defender and a excellent addition to the quality of the squad at the Club.

Adam SEWELL (17) Midfield. Current Youth team player who broke into the first team squad last season; highly regarded as the future of the club and a versatile player who can slot into any position - and has!

Dominic SMITH (17) Midfield. Another current Youth team player who broke into the first team squad last season and is also highly regarded as the future of the Club; skilful, with a great engine, and he covers every blade of grass on the pitch.

Christopher SQUIRE (21) Midfield. Early season signing from Norwich United; despite a long lay off from injury he has already shown that he is a quality all-round midfield player who will become an invaluable member of the senior playing squad.

Adam SULLIVAN (24) Midfield. Last season’s signing from Sole Bay (Southwold Town) who fast established himself in midfield; comfortable with both feet and has a vision for goal. Will improve on even last season’s performances.

Mark THOMPSON (23) Midfield. ‘Mr Commitment’ has enthusiasm to burn and has worked hard on his fitness last summer; a match winner on his day and one of the most skilful players in the squad.

Jose VIDE (21) Forward. A product of the Youth system who can create something out of nothing; unpredictable and with a spark of brilliance. Once of Sporting Lisbon, he has settled well to the English game.

Jonathan WATT (20) Defender. Former midfield player who reverted to the defence last season and has not looked back since. Supporters’ Club Player of the Season last term.

Scott WOODCOCK (20) Forward. A welcome return to the Club for this former Youth player with electric pace; an excellent addition to the squad who has proven he has an eye for goal.

Joint-Managers: Paul Tong rejoins the club this season. Was manager 1997-2004 and assistant manager 1989-90 before that. Now famous as “The Flying Pig” after a BBC TV interview on Football Focus! Kept goal for Norwich City A in his younger days. Has managed several Norfolk clubs over the years.

Kevin Cruickshank has been associated with GYTFC since the mid-1980s when he played in the A team. Has since managed at every level within the club, rising to the first team on the resignation of Nick Banham in Nov. 2007.

Sports Injury Therapists: Terry Reeves (“El Tel”) has been with the club for over a decade and has a wealth of experience and expertise in the job. A famed “Hatters” supporter. Marianne McNally (“Mazza”) joined the club last season and has proved a talented and popular addition to the personnel.
